Hi everyone and welcome!

Within my therapy practice, I strive to work with individuals to share their stories and understand their past to move presently into the future. I strive to create a grounded trauma-informed practice that acknowledges that our histories influence our perceptions, values, and beliefs.

I draw from a variety of frameworks in my practice like intersectional feminist theory, narrative therapy and provide LGBTQIA+ affirmative mental health support. Drawing from Dialectic Behavioral Therapy using mindfulness and CBT to stay curious about perception, core beliefs and personal biases. I like to acknowledge with clients the systemic barriers that work against accepting our true selves fully and the infinite capacity we have to grow. I am passionate about the power of stories and how they inform our views of the world and our relationships. Using my blended approach of refreshing honesty, and playful insight, I can help you utilize emotional regulation tools, take thoughtful risks and increase your self-compassion.

I am passionate in working with attachment and religious trauma especially as it relates to sexuality and gender. Meeting the client where they are at and assisting them find the balance between nourishing self-preservation and taking healthy risks to gain connection with themselves and others is a way to increase secure attachment.

I have worked with houseless youth, incarcerated people, drug-users, and people affected by intimate partner violence and sexual assault. I challenge my clients to move forward in making intentional choices based on their wants and needs. I am continuously honored to work with people who have experienced religious trauma, shame, and judgment from living their authentic selves. My practice as a therapist is informed by an intersectional and queer lens, anti-racist and mindful-based strategies. I am passionate about using the strategies from my background in yoga philosophy to educate my therapy direction.

I value transparency in every relationship and staying curious with clients. I am driven by the idea that what you practice for yourself, you practice for others. I value creating a space to be vulnerable, a grounding place that encourages healthy risks and healing.

You are the expert of your own life, and that will be honored and respected. When you try to show up as your authentic self, I want you to understand that you are valued. I use a highly collaborative approach to working with you on your healing journey.
