Types of Therapy
-
I seek to create an open space for queer individuals, partners and families. Here, you can tell the story you hold and the experiences you have without needing to shield yourself against judgment. There is no need to over-explain yourself when sharing space. I explore topics with clients that encompass the whole self, discussing topics like
-Holding and honoring different identities
-Self Compassion
-Internal and external shame
-Family dynamics and navigating new relationships
-Relationships and sex
-Resources for gender-affirming care
-
Working with people with sexual trauma, religious trauma, and chronic pain to move through the world of accessing limits and pleasure, my sex-inclusive modalities welcome you. I provide a space that accepts multiple narratives when discussing differences and transitions in relationships and with the self. Sex therapy can be a tool for individuals and couples/triads and polycules to discuss topics like:
-Relationship transitions
-Gender and sexuality
-Chronic pain or physiological sexual barriers
-Hormonal changes
-Libido mis-matches
-Arousal and pleasure problems
-Kink, BDSM, Fantasies and fetishes
-
Relationships are at the core of how we relate to each other and ourselves. I work with monogomous and non-monogomous couples in need of support and tools to navigate communication, infidelity and other life stressors that impact the bond between each other. With mindfulness and through a non-judgemental lens, we can work together to increase repair through diologue and honesty. I use a collaborative and interactive approach to use my training as a group facilitator for vulnerabilities. Informed by the wheel of consent and Gottman method, I take an interactive approach when working with relationships.
Relationship Therapy can help with:
-A deeper understanding of individual patterns
-Family and parenting issues
-Coping with a partners mental health
-Anything sexual or intimate that can disrupt harmony within the relationship.
